Lunch
The Local Authority (LA) have informed us that school meals will resume the week beginning Monday 21st September.
For the weeks beginning 21st September and 28th September 2020 there will be a choice of sandwiches (tuna, cheese or ham), with drink and fruit etc. Lunches will be served as a ‘grab bag’. The school will review the situation again shortly and we hope to be able to offer a wider choice of options for the two weeks leading into half term, and beyond.
Dinners may be ordered in the same way as usual and paid for in advance using parent pay. We will send further updates on menu choices home when they are received.
All children may also continue to bring in their own packed lunch from home.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast club will start the week beginning Monday 21st September. Again, due to current restrictions, there will be a limited choice, for example, juice, breakfast cereal bar and fruit. This will be served as a ‘grab bag’.
Children who require a breakfast will need to go straight to their class and breakfast will be served in relaxed surroundings within the children’s own contact group. Breakfast will be served from 8.30am due to staffing restrictions.
At present, breakfast club will be available for children in Years 1 to Year 6 only.
Snack
There will be no changes to snack arrangements at this time. All children will still need to bring with them healthy fruit snack and refillable bottle of water.
Please do not send in crisps, chocolate/sweets or fizzy drinks for snack.
