Curriculum

The pupils in Reception will be following the Foundation Phase Curriculum and will be working towards the implementation of the New Curriculum for Wales. The New Curriculum for Wales aims to develop pupils who will be:

-ambitious capable learners

They will follow six areas of learning and experience which include:

Young children learn most effectively through structured play. They will be provided with plenty of opportunities to learn through experience. 

Reception pupils are taught through two weekly themes which cover all areas of the curriculum.
