Opportunity to Achieve
Health and Safety Update - Coronavirus Virus Covid-19
You will be aware of the rapidly changing situation with regards to Coronavirus and prevention management planning. The Council is closely monitoring guidance from the Welsh Government/NHS Wales and the school will keep you updated with any further developments, especially those linked to educational settings.
Planning for every eventuality
The school is planning for every eventuality. This includes remaining fully open, moving to a partial closure, or moving to full closure.
The school has a critical incident team in place and this team will take the appropriate action/s when required or instructed to do so.
If the school moves to a partial or full closure, the school will communicate with parents/carers in the following ways:
• The School App ‘Push’ Notifications (our text messaging system)
• The school website
• The school Twitter account
Please alert the school office immediately if you have changed any of your contact details. Staff in school are also preparing to utilise online platforms to share resources with students in the event of partial or full closure. Information on how to access these packs will be shared via the methods mentioned above.
