During the Autumn term the school underwent an annual categorisation process. The system’s main purpose is to identify which schools are in most need of support.
The process assesses what are known as performance measures (standards and progress) and the school’s own self-evaluation of learning, teaching and leadership.
One of the outcomes of this procedure is for each school to awarded a coloured support category.
We are extremely proud to announce that Oakfield Primary School is considered a Green School with excellent standards. This is clearly as a result of the hard work of all the children and everyone associated with the school including families, governors, PTA and staff.
What does this mean for Oakfield? We don’t think that you should notice any difference as the school will continue to aim to grow and flourish in the community.
Sincere thanks to everyone for helping to create such a success story! The future is bright!
