Art Club

Welcome to Art Club

Art Club is open to pupils from Year 5 and we meet every Thursday, from 3.15 - 4.15pm.

Staff involved in the club are Mrs. Keenan, Mrs. Fish and Mrs. Price and we all love to be creative with art and craft!

Working in a small group with adult support & guidance is a great way for the children to develop their art skills while having fun! 

Pupils will have the opportunity to develop their creative talents using a variety of techniques and resources like paint, pastels, clay and collage materials.

Project 1

The pupils in art club have worked so hard on a project called 'Funny Faces'. They studied how to accurately draw a face, made fantastic collages of faces and completed some beautiful self portraits in both pencil and pastels. In addition to this they studied the work of Welsh artist Shani Rhys James, who has painted some beautiful portraits. Their work can now been seen on display in the corridor outside 5BK
