    Class of 2026/2027

You are now in Year 3, and so many exciting adventures lie ahead! We have lots of fun topics to explore, new things to learn and wonderful experiences to share. We can’t wait to hear your ideas and see where your learning takes you!

Remember to always follow our Oakfield values: respect others, persevere when things get tricky, try your best and always be kind and caring to everyone around you.

We are a GOLD Rights Respecting School! Let’s work together to respect each other’s rights, follow our class charter and make sure everyone feels safe, happy and included.

    School Dinners 🍽️

Please take a little time to chat with your child about their school dinner choices and place their orders together at home. This helps them feel happy and confident with their choices.

    Healthy Snacks and Drinks 🍎💧

Please remember to send your child to school with a drink each day to help them stay hydrated.

We provide a healthy snack at playtime for just £1 per week. There is plenty of choice, helping to keep little tummies happy until lunchtime! If you prefer, you are very welcome to send your child in with their own healthy snack instead.

    Spellings ✏️

Your child will have their spelling test every Monday afternoon. We would really appreciate your support in helping them practise their words at home, as this can make such a difference to their confidence and progress.

New spelling words will be shared on Class Dojo every Thursday, giving you plenty of time to practise together.

    Class Dojo 💬

Class Dojo is a great way for us to share news, updates and important information with you. It is also a lovely way to keep in touch, so please feel free to send us a message whenever you need to.

Please let us know if your child has any worries or concerns, has achieved something special outside of school, or if they are unwell. We also love seeing pictures of your child learning and having fun at home, so please feel free to share these with us!

We are happy to help and will respond to messages between 8:30am and 4:00pm. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us celebrate your child's learning and achievements! 😊

    PE 🏃‍♀️⚽

PE will take place every Monday afternoon. Please make sure your child comes to school wearing suitable clothing and sensible footwear so they can take part in all our fun physical activities comfortably and safely.

    Thank you for your support!
