This week's theme is 'When I Grow Up'.
Your final day at Oakfield will be on on Friday 17th July. The timings of your sessions have changed slightly so your parents and carers can watch you leave your Year 6 class for one last time. Please see new timings below:

This week's theme is 'Global Explorer'. However, there is also a very special #Classof2020 Virtual Leavers' Assembly via Zoom on Friday 10th July. This will have a 'I'm a Year 6, Get Me Out of Here' theme and iclude:

THE GREATEST SHOW
This week's theme is 'The Greatest Show'. This theme is based around the fun of the fairground and circus. From using your reading and comprehension skills to understand the lyrics of 'The Greatest Showman' soundtracks to applying your maths and numeracy skills to design and manage your own 'Luna Theme Park'!

FANTASTIC FAIRTRADE
While this week's theme focuses on the wonderful work of 'Fairtrade', we also have a really important activity for you to complete - your first '5 Day Challenge'. It’s normally around this time of year that we begin activities to help you prepare for your transition to high school - a very exciting time. How cool would it be if you were able to open a time capsule from 10 years ago?
Your task is to create the following pieces of work to bury in Oakfield. In 2030, Year 6 will then dig up your capsule and learn what life was like for you guys in
2020!
